Definition of Muchachada

According to the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language (RAE) muchachada is defined as a set of boys or own action of boys.

The word became very popular thanks to the Spanish television program Muchachada Nui, broadcast on Spanish TV 2 between September 19, 2007 and April 21, 2010.

This program was continuation of the program La hora Chanante from Paramount Comedy Spain.

According to Joaquin Reyes, creator and actor of the aforementioned programs, this word is widely used in Castilla la Mancha, Spain and they decided to use it with Nui as the name of the new program.
